Grace Finlay

(she/her) - Owner/Performer

Grace Finlay (she/her) Has been performing as a princess since she was in middle school! Though she is best acquainted with our Snow Queen, Grace has also played her sister the Snow Princess, The Little Mermaid, Princess Beauty, Rapunzel, and Cinderella. She is currently a third-year student at St. Thomas University studying musical theatre and honoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. She has also spent multiple years working in early childhood education. Some of Grace's theatre credits include Vic in Call Me by My Name and Robyn in The Way Some People Love for Braver Stages Theatre Festival Grace has also been part of STU Musical Theatre's production of Urinetown: The Musical, and Groundhog Day The Musical. This past summer Grace also spent time with NotaBle Acts theatre festival directing Camp Fire written by Drew Hudson. 

Favourite princess memory: Grace's favourite princess memory was attending Atlantic Entertainment Expo 2024, when she got to see the rest of this lovely cast experiencing making the princess magic for the first time. Their joy and excitement is ultimately what encouraged Grace to work under the title of Perfectly Royal again.

Dylan Wightman

(she/her) - Performer

Hi my name is Dylan Wightman, (she/her) I have been studying musical theatre for 3 years now at St. Thomas university, and was in Urinetown: The Musical and Groundhog Day. I have also done some work the Calithumpians, and Rogue Productions, such as Rock Of Ages and Broadway By The Sea as well as Home For Christmas. I am so excited to be a princess, it’s a dream come true!

Favourite princess memory: Dylan's favourite princess memory was while she was spending time with Ariel at an event and a little girl gave her the largest hug before going back to her grown up excitedly saying "Look! She looks like me!"

Maya Buchanan

(she/her) - Performer

Maya Buchanan (she/her) is a 4th year Criminology student attending St. Thomas University. Maya is currently in her 2nd year of the musical theatre program at STU and has been in productions such as Urinetown: The Musical and Groundhog Day The Musical. Maya has also done extracurricular theatre at the University and has worked through the summer at the Calithumpians. 

Favourite princess memory: Maya's favourite princess memory is from a large event where she had been spending time with Rapunzel. There was a little girl attending who had previously been very shy, but was immediately excited and came right out of her shell when she got to talk to her favourite princess.

Ollie McLeod

(they/them) - Performer

Ollie MacLeod is a third year St Thomas University student, majoring in Fine Arts and Psychology. Ollie has been acting and singing since they were in elementary school and has been a part of many theatre companies and school shows such as Braver Stages Theatre Festival, and St. Thomas Universities Urinetown: The Musical, and Groundhog Day The Musical. Through the summer they spend time working with the Calithumpians. Being a princess is such a rewarding experience for Ollie, they enjoy making everyone’s day a little brighter.

 

Favourite Princess Memory: Their favourite memory was the first time they went to a convention as Cinderella, it was such a wonderful experience, and they could not wait to do it again.

Martina Chaffey

(she/they) - Performer

Martina Chaffey is a second-year student at St. Thomas University majoring in Fine Arts and Philosophy. She has won the Provincial Kiwanis Music Festival and attended the FCMF National Music Festival two consecutive years for Newfoundland, where she is from. She has been performing for years, notably as Peter Pan in Peter and the Starcatcher in 2018, understudy for Tobias in Sweeney Todd (cancelled due to COVID-19), Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher in 2023. She was also in the STU Musical Theatre production of Urinetown. 

Favourite princess memoryThe Girl Guides made Snow White and the other princesses customized tradeables with their respective initials and colours beaded onto safety pins. It was clear that meeting the princesses meant a lot to them if they dedicated their time to making those adorable crafts! I still treasure mine and keep it in my memory box, it makes me smile whenever I look at it.
